We have expertise in all areas of wireless communications including licensed band (e.g., cellular) and unlicensed band (e.g., Wi-Fi, WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.) technologies. This expertise relates to user devices such as mobile phones, tablet computers, embedded devices, wearables, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices and their various components including baseband processors, applications processors and radios. Our expertise also extends to radio access network devices (e.g., base stations, access points, etc.) and core network functions.

Since industry standards are fundamental to these wireless technologies, our attorneys review and analyze standards including Third Generation Partnership (3GPP) standards for 3G, 4G (LTE) and 5G (New Radio), IEEE 802.xx standards and Bluetooth standards. Using this knowledge, our attorneys advise clients regarding standards essential patents (SEPs), including drafting and prosecuting SEPs and reviewing competitors patents for the same.
